About Me

My name is Kate McKenzie and I'm an experienced specialist assessor of dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. I'm qualified and experienced in assessing all age groups both in person and remotely. I take a huge pride in my work and the difference it can make to people's lives.

Qualifications/experience

• Current Assessment Practising Certificate with the Dyslexia Guild (membership number 0922/085 - renewed in 2022)

• OCR Level 7 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (2019)

• Approved assessor for the British Dyslexia Association and the Helen Arkell Charity

• Currently work part-time as a Business Psychologist for ToHealth carrying out university and workplace diagnostic assessments

• 10+ years' experience working in education, especially SEN

• 2:1 Psychology BSc from the University of London

• DBS checked and professional indemnity insurance.
