Workplace Needs Assessments

Practical, personalised support to help you work at your best.

I provide workplace needs assessments for neurodivergent employees, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia/DCD and other SpLDs.

A workplace needs assessment looks at how your individual strengths and difficulties interact with your role and working environment. The aim is to identify practical adjustments, strategies and technology that can make day-to-day work more manageable and effective.

What does the assessment involve?
The assessment is a relaxed, confidential discussion about your role, the tasks you carry out and any areas of work you find more challenging.

We may explore areas such as:

- organisation and time management
- reading and processing information
- written communication
- memory and concentration
- meetings and communication
- managing workload and priorities
- your physical and sensory working environment
- assistive technology and software

After the assessment
You’ll receive a personalised written report setting out the recommendations discussed during the assessment. These may include reasonable adjustments, practical working strategies, assistive technology, equipment and workplace coaching where appropriate.

Recommendations are tailored to you and your particular role rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Who is it for?
Workplace needs assessments can be arranged by an employer or by an individual who would like a clearer understanding of the support that may help them at work.
